Citronellol, found in citronella oil, including Cymbopogon nardus, is the more common isomer. - With citronello, it is found in geranium oil of rose and pelargonium. They are naturally occurring components of organic essential oils. They cannot be separated from the essential oils, and are not added to the formula separately.
