EUROPE’S DEFINITIVE EVENT FOR TRULY GREEN COSMETICS – ENBA 2025
On September 29, the Théâtre Marigny in Paris hosted the third European Natural Beauty Awards (ENBA)—an event that has grown into one of the most significant meeting points in Europe’s beauty industry. Conceived and brought to life by Satu Mäkinen, the awards welcomed more than 700 guests to celebrate a new era of beauty: authentic, transparent, and conscious.
Hungary was represented by OPRehabSkincare® among the industry’s most prestigious players. The event set an impeccable standard: guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening in the inspiring company of organisers, jurors, and competitors.
ENBA, however, is about more than handing out trophies—it makes a strong professional statement to the entire industry. Its mission is to take a stand against greenwashing—products and brands presented as “green” purely for marketing purposes—and to redefine what natural beauty means today.
“We know where selfishness leads. There is no need for rivalry among those who serve a shared purpose—every effort, every step matters, even the sideways ones. Because when we move forward together, the detours also become part of our collective success,” said Satu Mäkinen, ENBA’s founder, in her opening address.
The event’s purpose is to spotlight truly green products with at least 98% natural composition and to recognise brands that are not only effective but also ethical and responsible. In its three headline categories—Excellence, Industry, and Innovation Awards—ENBA honoured those who genuinely embody its core values: authenticity, innovation, sustainability, and inclusion.

The ENBA award is a distinguished European honour that confers not only prestige and visibility but also professional credibility and a mark of quality: the ENBA label has become a seal of naturalness and trust. Fittingly, the grand trophies were handcrafted from Jurassic limestone, symbolising respect for nature and enduring value.
The 2025 edition impressed in numbers as well: 124 award-winning brands, over 1,270 entries, 100 independent jurors, and 700 guests—a more spectacular celebration of natural beauty than ever. From 35 countries, a 100-member expert jury evaluated hundreds of submissions, yet only a tenth of the 1,274 products met the stringent criteria—affirming that the winners represent the very pinnacle of excellence.
A standout Hungarian success: OPRehabSkincare® received recognition for its 100% natural formula, Sit Back R2 Oleogel—an easy-to-use bio-silicone oleogel suitable even for the care and regeneration of the most compromised skin. In addition, another product from the brand, a specialised Skin-Regenerating therapeutic oleogel, was selected among the top 214 products.
OPRehabSkincare® was founded by László Gelányi and Zsanett Gilián to provide natural, effective solutions for special orthopaedic patients. The range was created for wound and scar care—originally to address scar challenges in prosthesis users—and soon evolved to pioneer new approaches to diverse scarring conditions. The brand’s R&D partner is Dr. Edina Házi, founder of DRHAZI; together they realise a true symbiosis of natural purity and medical efficacy.
